Welcome to the home of the South Wake Amateur Radio Club on the web. The South Wake ARC was founded in 2008 with a mission to provide community service and promote the amateur radio hobby in Southern Wake County and surrounding areas. South Wake ARC members are active in the following areas: communications support for local community organizations, emergency preparedness, contesting, education, equipment building and repair - just to name a few.

The South Wake ARC club holds monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month. Our meetings are held at the Fuquay-Varina Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall located at 307 N Ennis Street - Fuquay-Varina, NC. Food and fellowship starts at 6:00pm, and the club meeting is at 7:00pm. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to stop by!

Weekly Informal Breakfast - Every Saturday 9am at the Golden Corral in Fuquay Varina. Look for Steve KA0GMY! Stop by and help Steve solve the world's problems or perhaps create a few new ones! :)

Two Meter Nets

The South Wake ARC holds nightly nets at 7:30pm, a tech net on the second Tuesday of the month at 8:00pm, and a traders net on all other Tuesday nights at 8:00pm - all on the K4ITL 145.21 (82.5 Hz) repeater. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to check in!
Tech Net Live Audio Feed and Chat Session

On the second Tuesday of every month during the Tech Net, Roy KK4ATD has a live audio feed and chat session running. You can access the audio feed by clicking here and you can chat with net control and other check-ins via IM by clicking here.

Friday Night Web Show

On Friday night, Mark NC4MP streams the net live over the internet. The show usually starts at 7:00pm. Come join us for even more fun!
