Frequencies

The K4ITL 145.210 (82.5 Hz and negative offset) repeater is the South Wake Amateur Radio Club's "home" repeater. The K4ITL repeater is located on the WRAL TV tower near Garner, NC. The antenna is 1200 feet above ground level and provides excellent coverage.

Our "backup" repeater is the K4ITL 147.105 (82.5 Hz and positive offset) repeater located in Broadway, NC.

The official simplex frequency for SWARC is 146.58. This frequency is used for emergency communications, during club events, during repeater outages, etc.

The above repeaters are owned and managed by Danny Hampton, K4ITL, and the Piedmont Coastal Repeater Network (PCRN). Mr. Hampton graciously allows the South Wake Amateur Radio Club to use these repeaters and call them home. The SWARC club encourages members to support the PCRN through annual membership.
